The companyALICOMAR, SA is an industrial company founded in 2001 as a Spanish-Moroccan joint venture dedicated to the production of sauces, pickled vegetables and preserves distributed under the BANGOR brand in the Moroccan market and under other brands in international markets. Its factory is located in Fez (15,000 m2 with 3,000 m2 built) and has modern facilities and machinery to annually process more than 5,000 MT of sauces, and more than 4,000 MT of pickled vegetables.

 

Two main activities are carried out:

  • The production of sauces and pickled vegetables as a finished product under the Bangor brand , with its sales mainly oriented to the Moroccan market: modern distribution chains (hypermarkets and supermarkets), traditional Moroccan distribution and, very notably, distribution for restaurants. It is also manufactured for  a client’s brand with products adapted to the specifications required by the client. 
  • The production of bulk pickled vegetables (capers, capers, piri-piri, olives) as a semi-finished product , to create a customer brand, with its sale oriented to packaging manufacturers from different countries around the world.

 

The quality of ALICOMAR products is in line with the best European manufacturers, whose traceability is well controlled and in many cases with products adapted to the preferences of the Moroccan consumer.
