Our history.

The origin of Agro Aceitunera SA dates back to the year 1900, when our ancestors of Lebanese origin began to emigrate to Argentina. Already in 1914, the Cuyo area, where our plantations and factories are located, had a strong Lebanese presence: our ancestors. They are the ones who have always cultivated olive trees and who gave us their knowledge and passion for olive growing; thus beginning an olive-growing tradition that has since led the group to develop its activities in Argentine territory; specifically in the provinces of San Juan, La Rioja and Catamarca.

From that moment, thanks to the optimal climate, soil and water conditions, a pioneering industry emerged that later expanded its agricultural and industrial area, growing and thus making some of our brands leaders, both in Argentina and abroad. But, mainly bringing to Argentines the authentic flavor of the best Mediterranean olive: appetizing, nutritious and with countless applications; in addition to the best olive oils.

Combining tradition and technological evolution, the quality of Agro Aceitunera’s products continues to be, fundamentally, the result of two factors: use of Argentine olives controlled by its technicians and care in the production and packaging process.

Through various physical and chemical analyzes the optimal harvest time is determined for subsequent processing.

The olives are harvested manually or mechanically depending on the type of crop, variety, olive grove management system, etc.
